The Readers Club of Noble Women's college Floriligium has been inaugurated today.The program was coordinated by Ms. Arya (faculty, department of Sociology). An official welcome note was given by Mrs. Sameena, conveinor of Library.Our beloved Principal-in-charge, Dr. Chithrakala (Head of the Department of Commerce) inaugurated the programme and she gave a detailed talk on the importance of reading skill among students.Respected librarian Mrs. Ranjani donated 30 books to the library and she talked about the pivotal role of library in our social and academic scenario.
After that Mr. Madhusoodhanan (faculty dept of hindi), and Dr. Anupama (Hod, department of Psychology) delivered falicitations for the programme.
The need for this club was evident from the active participation of our students. Around 100 students took part in the opening session and the presence of faculties from other departments was also visible. The final curtain for the opening session, veiled by the vote of thanks from one of our students Pragna (3rd B A English).
The coordination from all the faculties and students made the inaugural session a successful one.
